Era Public School organised its Annual Prize Distribution on May 11,
2018 in the school
auditorium. The evening began with the lighting of lamp by the Founder
Principal and Director Mrs. Usha Chopra, the Principal Mrs. Vandana Chawla and
the Director of New Era Public School,
Dwarka Mr Rohit Chopra. The prize distribution
by a cultural programme. Students
were awarded for academic excellence as well as achievement in co-curricular activities.Mrs. Chopra encouraged and congratulated the
winners.Mrs. Chawla inspired the students to strive for excellence in every
aspect of life.

choir and tabla.
The orchestra brought together
24 talented students from classes 6-12, who played a fusion of various
instruments. The choir comprised 115 students,
who sang a melodious song about the importance of peace and harmony. A
group of 15 students presented various taals on tabla. The
annual production by the name of “Taqseem-e- Hind” was also staged. The theme revolved around the
violence which followed the
Partition and the prejudices that manifest themselves in
the metropolitan cities
even today. The play concluded with
a pledge to
bring all sections of the community together, so that the society can move
ahead on the way to progress.
The play was a tribute to
all those who have lived through the
Partition and are still carrying the burden with them.
