As Founder Principal and Director, Mrs. Chopra established the school in a single room in 1960 with a desire to put her education to good use. In a time when working women were an anathema, she dared to dream. The challenges and obstacles were immense, the road uphill and the task enormous. With continued service, hard work and a will to succeed - her efforts bore fruit. New Era Public School became and continues to be an institution whose name is synonymous with excellence in Education. Mrs. Chopra is a beacon of light and a source of strength to all those whose lives she has touched. Her life is an exemplary and inspirational one and she continues to guide and direct the school to newer vistas of educational achievement with renewed fervour and innovation.
