New Era Public School, Mayapuri conducted the much-awaited 10th R.L. CHOPRA Memorial Inter-School Quiz Festival-QRIOSITY on 5th February 2022 through the online platform 'Zoom'.  Dedicated to the Founder of New Era Public School, Late Mr. R.L. Chopra, the event has created a niche for itself among the student community in the city, as the most distinctive event in its category, which attracts the best talent. This year, 41 schools participated in the 3 quizzes, namely the Cadet Quiz, General Quiz (Jr.) and General Quiz (Sr.).

The event was inaugurated by the Founder Principal and Director Mrs. Usha Chopra and the Principal Mrs. Vandana Chawla. In their addresses to the students, both Mrs. Chopra and Mrs. Chawla emphasized on the need for students to be inquisitive and creative. They complimented the students’ spirit of enquiry which helps them in reinventing and learning new things and wished them success.

All the quizzes were designed and conducted by ex-students of the school, who have gone on to excel in the field at the national level and have kept the desire to ask questions and know more alive.

    Chrysalis Day (2021-22) for Classes VI- VIII


    Chrysalis is a well-graded technology that transforms learners into a colourful butterfly in a year long journey comprising curriculum from Classes I to VIII, covering nine technology areas.

    This year was indeed one of the most challenging for all of us. Despite the challenges, our students have made an incredible accomplishment by not only learning all the software online but also sharing their videos and projects beautifully in their online classes.

    New Era Public School, Mayapuri celebrates ‘Chrysalis Day’ with great enthusiasm. Students were divided into groups according to their classes and topics are given class-wise. This year Chrysalis Day 2021-22 was celebrated on 11th Feb 2022 for classes VI to VIII. The days saw the participation of all the students who prepared their projects group-wise on the given topics.

    Mrs. Usha Chopra, Founder Principal and Director & the Principal Mrs. Vandana Chawla graced the event with their presence. Mrs. Chopra & Mrs. Chawla were amazed and ecstatic to see the young students working so well with technology. They also appreciated their wonderful projects and enthusiastic participation.

    The event saw some great project work done by each class group. ClassesVI to VIII presented their projects on different and interesting topics such as Travel & tourism, Covid Vaccination Drive in India, Pros & cons of social media, Unsung freedom fighters of India & Freedom struggle of India using software’s GIMP, HTML & CSS & Moviemaking. The event depicted the teamwork and collaborative technical skills of all participants.
