Despite the sweeping changes all around us, be it in political leaderships around the world, paradigm shifts in use of the Internet and social networking tools, advances in science and medicine, the basic core and structure of schooling stays unaltered. The student stays at the heart of the entire process. To use another metaphor the student is the fulcrum and the teacher the lever that moves this fulcrum to extract the most effective momentum and growth in this very simple device called education.
